Product Details

Lead ingots, lead pigs, are divided into 5 grades according to chemical composition: Pb99.994, Pb99.990, Pb99.985, Pb99.970, Pb99.940. 

The most commonly used refined lead on the market is Pb99.994.

Main applications:

TEKLEAD Lead ingot mainly used in the factory of batteries, coatings, warheads, welding materials, chemical lead, cable sheaths, bearing materials, caulking materials, lead alloys 

and X-ray protection materials, etc.


TEKLEAD Lead ingot Shape:

Lead ingots are rectangular, with protruding ears at both ends, blue-white metal, relatively soft. Density 11.34g/cm3, melting point 327℃

TEKLEAD Lead ingot Product specifications:

Lead ingots are divided into large ingots and small ingots.

The small ingot is a rectangular trapezoid with a bundling groove at the bottom and protruding ears at both ends.

The large ingot is a trapezoid with a T-shaped protrusion at the bottom and grabbing grooves on both sides.

The unit weight of small ingots can be: 48kg±3kg, 42kg±2kg, 40kg±2kg, 24kg±1kg;

The unit weight of large ingots can be: 950 kg±50kg, 500 kg±25kg.


TEKLEAD Lead ingot Surface quality:

1. There shall be no slag, particulate oxygen, inclusions and external pollution on the surface of lead ingots.

2. Lead ingots shall not have cold shuts and shall not have flash burrs greater than 10mm (trim is allowed).

Test method: The arbitration analysis method of the chemical composition of lead ingots shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of 

GB/T4103 "Chemical Analysis Methods for Lead and Lead Alloys".

TEKLEAD Lead ingot Marking:

1. The trademark and batch number shall be cast or printed on each lead ingot.

2. The brand mark shall be drawn on the lead ingot with paint that is not easy to fall off, and the color and position of the mark shall comply with the regulations.

3. Each bundle of lead ingots shall have a conspicuous and non-falling mark indicating the manufacturer's name, product name, brand, batch number and net weight.

TEKLEAD Lead ingot Packaging:

Small ingots are packed with non-rusting packing tape. Large ingots are supplied as bare ingots.

TEKLEAD Lead ingot Transportation and storage:

1. Lead ingots should be shipped by transportation vehicles without corrosive substances to prevent them from being exposed to rain.

2. Lead ingots should be stored in a ventilated, dry, and non-corrosive storage room.

3. During the transportation and storage of lead ingots, the white, grayish white or yellowish white film formed on the surface 

is determined by the natural oxidation properties of lead and is not a basis for scrapping.
